Yes, we would require the year, make and model of your tub. We also need the dimensions of your tub along with the colour you would like. Once received, it takes approximately 6 weeks for your new cover to show up at our shop. You can pick up in Hamilton or contact us to arrange a delivery. Delivery is free if you live in our coverage area. Message us for a form that will simplify the process.

Hot tub water should be changed every three months, as extending past this will make balancing the water challenging with the high level of dissolved solids in the water.

Spa Chemical Guide

Ultra Granules (Chlorine) - add every time you exit the spa following the package directions (amount could vary from 2 teaspoons to 4 teaspoons based on bather load)

Oxy Clear Shock- weekly treatment or when the water is cloudy; broadcast on top of the water; turn on the jets and leave the cover open for 20 minutes; it will burn off the organics as a gas; leaving the cover open will allow the gases to get away; keep hands out of water while doing this!

pH Plus Liquid - to be used based on results of test strips . After adding you won’t see results the same day so test the following day to see results.

pH Minus - to be used based on results of test strips. After adding you won’t see results the same day so test the following day to see results.

Alka Plus - to be used based on results of test strips. After adding you won’t see results the same day so test the following day to see results.

Test Strips - ensure you test your tub on a bi-weekly basis. Dip test strip in water; wait 15 seconds before reading.

Ahh! some - to be used before draining hot tub (every 3 months).

Important Notes:

• Water requires more adjustment as it gets closer to the 3 months

• Maintaining proper pH levels will increase the life of your spa and the chlorine’s efficiency

• The pH should be maintained between 7.2-7.8

• Total alkalinity 100-150 ppm

• The alkalinity needs to be corrected before correcting pH as the alkalinity affects pH.
